I also love the profile picture of Caitlyn walking in the yard. Every time I see it, it reminds me of a catalog photo for children's clothing... I was amazed at how you were able to capture her in such a sweet way as she was just being herself. I also really like the photo you captured of "Pop-Pop" and Norma under the honeysuckle. It's sweet and captures the friendship between them. I felt like we were getting a glimpse at a special moment with them! The shots he took were not only great quality photographs, but he captured my excitement and feelings throughout the day. Two photographs in particular that I really enjoy are: a black and white photo ot me with my daughter playing in the water prior to the event that captures the joy of the moment, and an amazing shot of me swimming at the start of the race. Rod also has a knack for blending into the event; so many shots were truly the spirit of the event. His photos far exceeded my expectations and were superior to the race events pictures. No other photographer from the previous four weddings was able to capture the "moments" as Rod's photos did that day. The pictures he took are touching and memorable. The images he captured of our family and friends are treasured and will be for generations to come. The wedding album was exceptional and told a perfect touching story of Maggie and John's wedding day through his crisp clear pictures. In March 2012, our three-month old granddaughter arrived from California. Rod again captured stunning photography of our infant Ella. The pictures he took are truly worthy of a baby magazine. They have made wonderful gifts for her parents, grandparents, great grandmother, aunts and uncles. Since then Rod worked for us at two granddaughters' sporting events. One event was in Charlottesville, Virginia, at a gymnastic competition. Our 11 year old granddaughter, Katie, competed on the floor, vault, uneven bars, and beam. Rod was unobtrusive to audience and competitors while taking amazing photo's of Katie's competition. Rod also shot our 15 year old granddaughter Abby's junior varsity soccer game in Herndon, Virginia. He was able to capture her fierce competitive determination that day in the action photography he took.
